This episode was adapted into a novel along with the episode "Canyon Of Death". Entitled "The Bionic Woman: Extracurricular Activities" by Eileen Lottman, the book was published by Berkley Medallion Books in 1977. The novel was released in the UK, Australia and New Zealand under the title, "The Bionic Woman: A Question Of Life" by Maud Willis. In this novelization, Katie's last name is Patterson. The book was also translated for release in Japan by Mikasa Novels.
