Trivia

Clips from this episode were utilized to create a mission for Jaime Sommers involving Ford & Mercury's "Hello '99 Good Buy '98" sales event. This commercial aired exclusively in the British Columbia, Canada region as part of Lindsay Wagner's commercial package.

This episode was rebroadcast by ABC-TV on July 14, 1976.

Bionic Stunts

This episode gives us an unintentional glimpse behind the show's stunt work. The airbag can be seen during stunt woman Rita Egleston's back jump from the rocks, and Lindsay Wagner's "mark" can be seen scratched on the ground and the ladder that she jumped from is seen being pulled away after Jaime stops the flight suit from being stolen.

The unseen pilot Captain Brandon is an obvious reference to Lindsay Wagner's then boyfriend, actor Michael Brandon.

Exterior desert locations where shot at Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park in northern Los Angeles County, California.

Bionic Novels

This episode was adapted into a novel along with the episode "Claws". Entitled "The Bionic Woman: Extracurricular Activities" by Eileen Lottman, the book was published by Berkley Medallion Books in 1977. The novel was released in the UK, Australia and New Zealand under the title, "The Bionic Woman: A Question Of Life" by Maud Willis. The book was also translated for release in Japan by Mikasa Novels.
