Trivia

This episode was rebroadcast by ABC-TV on January 5, 1977.

The character of Muffin Calhoun was originally scripted to return in the Season 3 episode "Rodeo".

"Good To Be Alive In The Country" first appeared on singer-songwriter Ken Tobias' 1973 album The Magic's In The Music. Prior to "Road To Nashville," Lindsay Wagner sang part of this song in the 1976 feature film, SECOND WIND.

The song "I Don't Know Why I Love You" appears on Hoyt Axton's 1977 LP Snowblind Friend.

The 2017 film LADY BIRD features actress Saoirse Ronan wearing the exact same cowgirl shirt that stuntwoman Rita Egleston wore in this episode!
